The short version
MacroPrep is a free recipe website. There are no accounts and no advertising, and the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The only personal information we keep is the email address you give us if you join the waitlist. We use it only to tell you about MacroPrep, and we share it only with the services that run the site.

The waitlist
The waitlist form asks for one thing: your email address. We use it only to email you about MacroPrep, such as when new features launch. We don't sell it, and we share it only with the services that run the site, below.
The form is run by Netlify, the company that hosts this site, and your submission is stored in our Netlify account. Each submission also records the IP address it came from, your browser (its user agent), and the page you sent it from.
To keep out spam, the form has a hidden field that people never see and automated programs often fill in, and Netlify sends each submission to Akismet, a spam-filtering service, to be checked for spam. Akismet keeps what it receives for a short time and then deletes it automatically, under Akismet's privacy policy.
Each sign-up is also emailed to us when it arrives, so we see it.
If we ever start using an email service to send updates, we'll name it here before we do.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop the waitlist.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email macroprepapp@icloud.com from the address you signed up with. We'll delete your details, the submission and any copy of it, within 7 days and tell you when it's done.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify receives basic technical information when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address and browser, and keeps it in its logs under Netlify's privacy policy.
The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google for them, and Google receives your IP address and browser information when it does. That is covered by Google's privacy policy.
The host adds nothing to the pages: what your browser receives is what we publish.
The site doesn't use cookies or analytics. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this page before it goes live.
The services that run the site
Netlify hosts the site and runs the waitlist form. Akismet checks each waitlist submission for spam, sent to it by Netlify. Google Fonts provides the fonts. Nobody else receives anything from this site.

If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
